The South Australian Government has announced it will be accepting applications from local government bodies in its next round of funding under its Regional Growth Fund.
State Minister for Regional Development, Tim Whetstone, said that the funding is designed to ‘facilitate new economic opportunities’ in the state’s regional areas.
“The Regional Growth Fund is a 10-year commitment offering $15 million in grants annually to support projects which unlock new economic activity in our regions, create jobs, grow export opportunities and strengthen regional communities which have been neglected for so long under the former government,” Mr Whetstone said.
Applicants can seek grants from $50,000 up to $2 million, with projects to be located within the state.
Applications for Round 2 of the Regional Growth Fund close on Friday 9 August 2019.
