Sydney Planning Summit to tackle forces for change
Over the next decade, governments, planners, developers and residents in Greater Sydney face a large number of changes that will fundamentally influence economic and social outcomes and the quality of urban life.
These forces for change include new models for housing and shared urban space; the transition to new modes of mobility; novel solutions to meet ever-growing supply and logistics demands; the uncertainties of technology disruption; and the impacts of climate change on infrastructure and liveability.
All of these factors will bear on the diverse decisions that must be made at the local level across metropolitan Sydney.
At the Sydney Planning Summit on November 28-29, key planners and decision makers will present the latest thinking how these issues will affect Sydney, both at the broad policy level and with a focus on specific precincts within the metropolitan region.
It will be a unique opportunity to share and discuss the ideas and programs that are already setting the scene for the future of Sydney.
