Queensland announces anti-social behaviour funding
Grants of up to $1 million for security measures to address crime and anti-social behaviour in community spaces are now available for local governments under the new Safer Communities Fund.
Activities eligible under the project include installation of CCTV cameras, security lighting, bollards or alarm systems.
The grant also covers activities that tackle crime prevention through environmental design – like changing environmental characteristics in public or community spaces to improve safety.
The minimum grant is $1000.
