Feedback sought on Westmead Health, Education and Innovation Precinct
June 29, 2018
The NSW Government has launched a market sounding process that will seek local and international interest in creating a world-leading Health, Education and Innovation Precinct on the doorstep of Parramatta’s CBD.
The market sounding is seeking feedback on market participation and partnering over the Cumberland Hospital East and West campuses, as part of creating the emerging Westmead Health, Education and Innovation Precinct in Western Sydney.
UrbanGrowth NSW Development Corporation and Health Infrastructure NSW are working together to undertake the joint exercise that will help inform future opportunities for the Precinct covering land in the Parramatta North Growth Centre and Westmead Health Precinct.
This includes government owned land on the Cumberland Hospital’s East and West campuses.
The nationally listed heritage core will remain in public ownership and the NSW Government will continue to respect the site’s rich cultural and social significance.
